Our monthly maintenance website support plans, called “Careplans” offer you peace of mind that every month we will be on hand, rain (snow) or shine, to update your website, monitor it’s uptime, security, tweak its performance issues, and respond to requests from you and your team to edit, improve or fix unforseen and timely issues.

*We aim to get back to you within the time stated, during our regular working hours, but these times may vary. Websites not built by Whistler Creative or older than 2 years must have a technical assessment completed prior to sign up for a maintenance plan. Plans include monthly website maintenance, monitoring and updates, if any fixes, edits or troubleshooting are required due to these updates – this is not included in the plan (unless you have allocated support hours available), otherwise it will be charged at our hourly rate of $125 per hour. Website support hours can be used for items such as website questions, content updates, troubleshooting and fixes. Monthly and annual payment plans are available. Additional blocks of hours are available at a reduced rate, see Add On’s below. Website optimization is completed at time of migration to our Careplan, if additional optimization is required over time this will be completed within your monthly support time or billed as a separate project if required. All plans require an annual commitment. Values listed above are calculated annually. Website must be hosted with one of our preferred website hosting partners.
The Elevate plan is required for e-commerce, membership or websites with advanced functionality. Values listed are are based on annual costs.
Additional support hours purchased can only be used on website support tasks for your website, they cannot be used for any other project type and they are not transferrable to other websites or clients.
Support hours expire 3-months or 1 year after purchase, as stated. Hosting add-on is only available for select websites.

Security of your website is the top reason for keeping your website up to date, out-dated frameworks, plugins and themes can become vulnerable. Other reasons include speed, new features, bug fixes and compatibility.
Web hosting providers may or may not update your WordPress software for you (please check their policy), but all web hosts will not update your plugins or themes.
WordPress plugins are created by multiple authors, and are consistently updated to newer versions to comply with the latest version of WordPress, or to address security issues and bugs. It is not guaranteed that the mandated updates to WordPress will not break the website, nor that plugins will continue to function if not updated.
For this reason, having a trained web specialist on hand to monitor the website is necessary to update plugins, rollback plugins, replace plugins or even adjust the theme to continue optimal performance.
In our quarterly review, we do a checkup of the site and server to make sure everything looks correct and that the website and server is functioning optimally.
Payment is due 30 days prior to the annual renewal date. Delay in payment could cause downtime for your website.
Yes, when you sign up to a Careplan we migrate your website over to our hosting server.
Our hosting is provided by Flywheel, an optimized WordPress Hosting Company.
We provide a support ticket desk for quick turnaround and tracking of all support requests. You can submit all requests to email@example.com and we will reply within normal business hours.
Your monthly support time can include items such as; questions, fix issues, content edits or general improvements.
Additional requests or items out of this scope can be quoted separately or additional time blocks can be purchased
No, any unused time does not roll over. Plans run from the first of the month to the end of the month.
We aim to respond to all support tickets within 2 business days for the base plan and within 1 business day for the premium plan. However, the actual request or fix may take longer to resolve.
Care plans are typically only available for websites that we have built within the last year.

If your website includes e-commerce, membership or any other complex functionality, the premium plan is required. Please contact us and we can review on a case by case basis.
No, we do not host email accounts as part of these plans. For email hosting we recommend using GSuite. Contact your IT provider if you need assistance with setup or migrations of email.
When we build websites and make any content changes to the website, we do take SEO practices in mind, such as Alt tags, setting up SEO plugins, image optimization and page speed, however we are not a SEO company so do not offer any additional SEO services or monitoring.
Sometimes framework, theme or plugin updates can cause issues or break things. If this happens we have daily backups so these updates can be rolled back. Troubleshooting, fixes and changes to sites are not included in the careplans as part of the monthly updates, but these fixes can be completed as part of your monthly hours. If you have run out of ours on your plan, we have blocks of time that can be purchased or you will be billed at our hourly rate.
Our Care Plans are charged annually. No refunds are available if cancellations are requested part way through the plan. At the end of your annual plan if you do not wish to renew, please notify us 30 day prior to the renewal date.
Websites must be migrated away from our hosting platform at least 5 business days prior to the renewal date. We are not responsible for migrating websites away.
