Magnetic Communications

Website Design & Build

When Claire rebranded her PR and communications agency to Magnetic, the website had to catch up. The new name and identity represented a sharper, more defined positioning — a boutique agency specializing in science and innovation PR, working with clients across Canada and the United States. The site needed to reflect that: polished, credible, and immediately compelling to the kinds of organizations Magnetic works with.

This wasn’t a cold brief. Ruth and Claire had worked together before, which meant the handoff was efficient and the understanding of what the site needed to achieve was clear from the start.

A laptop on a white surface displays the Magnetio website, showcasing sleek website design with a landscape image and the text “Storytelling so you can push the boundaries of science.” Sunlight casts subtle shadows on the wall behind.

The Work

We built a clean, modern custom website that puts the work front and centre. The design is intentionally restrained — confident without being loud, letting the quality of Magnetic’s client work and writing do the talking. A flexible content structure makes it easy for the team to publish blog posts, add new case studies, and keep the site current without needing a developer every time.

The result is an online presence that matches the calibre of the agency behind it.

"Ruth is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is a talented graphic designer with an innate ability to understand client needs, and she consistently delivers high-quality material that is market-ready. I would not hesitate to recommend Ruth to others."
