Brand Identity · Website · Collateral · Ongoing Support
BC Adaptive Snowsports has been changing lives since 1973 — a registered Canadian charity that gives people with physical and cognitive differences access to skiing and snowboarding through a network of clubs across British Columbia. It’s a mission that deserves to be seen clearly. The brand wasn’t doing it justice.
The old visual identity was dated and DIY — the kind of brand that quietly undersells an organization before anyone has learned what it actually does. For a charity working to grow its reach, recruit volunteers, and serve more people, that gap mattered.
The Work
We started with the brand strategy — understanding who BC Adaptive Snowsports is, who they serve, and how they need to show up. From there, we built a complete visual identity: an abstract mountain logo mark that nods to the sport without being literal, a bold and accessible colour system, typography, and a comprehensive brand guide. The design needed to work for everyone — clear, readable, and inclusive by intention.
The identity was extended across everything the organization touches: social media templates, letterhead, business cards, a report template, envelopes, and event signage including tents and banners for when they’re out in the world representing the sport.
The website was built with the same clarity in mind — clean navigation, strong content architecture, and a seamless integration with their third-party membership and program platform. Easy to find, easy to use, easy to manage.
An Ongoing Partnership
"In our recent rebrand, Whistler Creative exceeded expectations at every step of the process. Our website design and build were delivered on time, on budget, and Ruth was able to accommodate the unique features we requested. Ruth created a logo and branding elements that immediately elevated our organization. Moving forward, we will continue to utilize Whistler Creative for all our graphic design needs."Jeff Sauvé- Past Executive Director, BC Adaptive Snowsports
