Keeping with the paper art theme, I came across these super delicate pieces produced by Anastasia Elias a French illustrator. They are created by cutting up small paper shapes and sticking them inside toilet rolls, the scenes are then brought to life with the right lighting and photography. I love all the different scenes she creates.
2013 has been an excellent year for Whistler Creative, we have been fortunate to take on many new and amazing clients and work on some great projects, we have completed 11 branding projects; 7 printed magazines; launched 9 websites; plus numerous advertisements, business cards, signs and promotional items – we have also added a couple of new services to our business, so keep an eye out for these in the new year.
Below are a few samples from a selection of these these projects:
This weeks inspiration is a local jewelry designer Nicole Wellstein and her company Mana Jewelry Designs. I first discovered her work at the Whistler Art Council’s Bizarre Bazaar last year and have purchased multiple items since.
Her work is very unique as it is not your typical jewelry, each piece is eco friendly and handmade using exotic wood offcuts and bamboo.
Thank you to all the wonderful and inspiring ladies that attended the Women of Whistler on Feb 23rd and visited the Whistler Creative table, it was great to meet you all and hear what Dr. Jennifer Walinga had to say!!
Also congratulations to our draw prize winners Tamsin Plaxton and Janis McKenzie who both won a gift certificate for design services at Whistler Creative.
